Ramathan Kareem

A+ A-

Hey everyone, it's officially Ramathan over here. Ramathan Kareem to all of you, and for the atheists in the community, have a nice day I guess!

This was the month I dreaded since my childhood because it's when I would hate myself for being gay, not anymore. .

Ramadan Kareem Ahwaaians! I know what you mean Kuwaitilove. I'm so glad I don't feel that it's wrong that I'm here while I'm fasting. As in, before, even the thought felt wrong while I was fasting. We've come a long way :D

Every Ramadhan I feel guilty for being gay. Am I the only one who gets these feelings?

  • Well... I'm an atheist and bisexual, I don't want to be rude or something but I have worse feelings to religion and less tolerance to it when I listen or read that you feel bad for being homosexual...
I send you all my kindness support to you for pass these days with the less possible bad feelings for that, and wish that someday these feelings that you have won't be anymore.
    Have a good day

    • Hi :) it's very natural to have these feelings and you're not being rude at all by voicing them. Probably most of what you hear is exaggerated propaganda especially about a topic like homosexuality. Don't be hurt by these and know that you're not alone in feeling discomfort when you hear these hateful comments in the name of religion, often it is from ill-informed people who themselves are insecure.

Kullu sanah anta toyyib and sorry for being absent for such a long time..

    We welcome back the month of Ramadhan. Muslims all over the world are geared up to fast for whole month. But what about the gay Muslims? Let see if you fall in which category;

    Totally Devout
    • No eating or drinking from dawn to dusk
    • Abstain from sex the whole month
    • Solat Terawih at night

    Moderately Devout
    • No eating or drinking from dawn to dusk
    • Sex at night time
    • Solat Terawih at night

    Questionably Devout
    • No eating or drinking from dawn to dusk
    • Sex at night time but cruises the toilets in day time to give hand job to others
    • Maybe solat Terawih at night

    Non Devout
    • Do not fast at all
    • Sex any time of the day
    • Never solat at all

Weeeeeeird. I typed out more to that comment but somehow it got eaten by the internet. I was saying that I love Ramadan. I feel like this year has been really intense, and I'm looking forward to a chance to recharge. Hugs and peace to everyone who is participating, and even everyone who is not!
